Artist’s description:
Cocoon 1/2 is located by the glass window on the first floor of Geomundo Island Hotel, the only hotel in Geomun-do, a small island in South Korea. After 3 months of lockdown in NYC I had to move across the globe and start all over again. I constantly reminded myself this can be a new, fresh start but I never got rid of this sense of emptiness and helplessness. 3 months after coming back to my country (South Korea) and living with my family, nothing has moved forward. I started to feel like I’m under another form of lock down.
