Location: Lower East Side — Orchard, Eldridge Broome, Grand, and Allen Streets, NYC 10002

Artist’s description:
In the Reclaimed Dominance series (1-6) a surveillance camera is covered in vines, leaves and mushrooms addressing our society during the current epidemic. The camera implies social dominance and the vegetation signifies nature reclaiming its position over temporary human superiority. I chose the Lower East side because of the shock I experienced when coming back to the city and witnessing the drastic change caused by Covid-19.
