Artist’s description:
Since the pandemic began, I've replaced the flower and plant forms in brush painting practice with lattice patterns that transform vintage wallpaper into a form of urban landscape. The interstices of each pattern contain calligraphic spaces featuring a life cycle within each brush-load of color. When the patterns are enlarged and adapted to car windows, they become moving grids that circulate in daily life, disrupting the order of things.
