Artist’s description:
The two paintings are replicas of logos for industrial climate control systems and depict an entirely fictitious concept of sublime nature. The paintings are installed and photographed at a local florist, in the presence of houseplants and full stem flowers. A photograph of that scene is hung in the window of the store. Simple images with simple meanings that in context resonate with new implications. Images of Images, the imaginary wild next to an impossible flora; I can’t see the forest for the trees.
