Helina Metaferia presented a live performance artwork that honors Black women suffragists and civil rights activists, whose legacies inspire current strides for social justice. The performance was in conjunction with the Wide Awake's art and protest event that day, in commemoration of the centennial anniversary of the 19th amendment, which protects a women's right to vote.
