Artist’s description:
Beauty is for everyone, especially in unstable times. Since June, I go to Breezy Point Beach in NYC collect seashells in the early hours of morning, bring them back to my neighborhood and place them around the trees. There is garbage around and the sea shells get stepped on. However, I see this as a process to keep an area beautiful for my neighbors and passersby. As an artist, I know that this action is about connection and neighbors yell at me out of their windows (a friendly gesture in NYC, most of the time) that it is so beautiful and they love it. This project will run as long as I can get to the beach and there isn't snow on the ground.
