Artist’s description:
The thousands of threads in this piece evoke how we are tied together by complex visible and invisible knots, where even if one breaks there are many others holding us together. Soft muslin fabric is used as the foundation, and thread becomes a dimensional drawing tool. The delicacy of the thread and muslin fabric indicate the nuances in our emotions and relationships, while the knots and sewing convey the resilience present within them.
