Artist’s description:
This piece deploys each line of Ross Gay's poem 'A Small Needful Fact' across protest signs. Each sign, in isolation, fails to render the humanity embued in Gay's words about Eric Garner. All signs standing together complete the poem's implication that the NYC Park site is where Eric Garner had contributed his labor.
