Artist’s description:
Mirrored acrylic stripes often associated with animals, incarceration, fences, borders, flags, hybridity and barcodes represent Earth or civilization. Upturned high-heel legs, signify the displacement of marginalized bodies and symbolize police brutality against women of color. At the top, like a crown, braided or coiled hair represents consciousness.
