Artist’s description:
Through the use of self-similar forms, pattern and repetition, Hutnick creates spaces that exist in-between our expectations of reality as a way to queer the landscape. In this site-responsive work outside Maxon Mills at the Wassaic Project, two intertwined motifs negotiate time and space, slowly moving and vibrating to a crescendo. The work’s title - DAYS ARE GONE GONE GONE GONE GONE - is taken from the American pop-rock band Haim’s 2013 debut album.
